Chipotle has no standing promo-code program — and that fact is the most useful thing on this page, because coupon sites list dozens of Chipotle codes anyway. Every one of them is invented. The real ways to save are the Rewards program, the new-member offer, the birthday reward, the monthly Freepotle drops, Chipotle U for students, and one-day events like Boorito. For what everything costs before any deal, see the Chipotle menu with prices.
A warning first: coupon-farm websites list codes like CHIPOTLE50 or FREEGUAC that Chipotle has never issued. Chipotle’s offers live in the app and on chipotle.com — if a code does not come from there, it does not work at the register. The one tracked code-adjacent claim we checked — a BOGO entrée offer supposedly ending November 5, 2026 — appears only on coupon sites, not in Chipotle’s newsroom, so we treat it as unverified and do not list it as a live deal.
Chipotle Rewards Exchange
Chipotle Rewards is free, and it relaunched as “Rewards on Repeat” on April 13, 2026. You earn 10 points per $1 on qualifying purchases (tax, tips and fees excluded), and trade them in the Rewards Exchange in the app. Students in Chipotle U earn 12 points per $1 plus a 1,000-point signup bonus. The full ladder, checked October 23, 2026:
| Reward | Points | Spend to Earn |
|---|---|---|
| Side Tortilla | 85 points | $8.50 spent |
| Chips | 350 points | $35.00 spent |
| Fountain Drink | 400 points | $40.00 spent |
| Guac | 500 points | $50.00 spent |
| Double Protein | 700 points | $70.00 spent |
| 50% Off an Entrée | 815 points | $81.50 spent |
| Entrée | 1,625 points | $162.50 spent |
| Entrée & Chips | 1,775 points | $177.50 spent |

Two details save real money. First, Entrée & Chips (1,775 points) costs 200 points less than an entrée (1,625) and chips (350) redeemed separately. Second, the old 1,250-point entrée figure still circulating on coupon sites is stale — it predates the April 2026 relaunch, and the current price is 1,625 points. Points expire only after 365 days with no qualifying purchase (the old limit was 180 days); redeemed rewards expire 60 days after they land. The structure differs from other chains’ programs — for comparison, Dunkin’ Rewards pays 10 points per $1 too, but its Boosted Status tiers and redemption ladder work differently.
Ways to Save at Chipotle
Beyond the points ladder, these are the standing and seasonal ways members actually pay less. None of them needs a code.
| Way to Save | How It Works | Value |
|---|---|---|
| New Member Offer | Free chips & guac with a $5+ purchase | 7 days to use |
| Birthday Reward | Pick guac, queso, chips or a drink | 30-day window |
| Freepotle Drops | Free bonus reward added monthly | $5 purchase to use |
| Chipotle U | 12 pts per $1 + 1,000 bonus pts | Verify with ID.me |
| Extras Challenges | Bonus points + badges in the app | Always on |
| Boorito — Oct 31 | $6 entrée in costume, members | In restaurant only |
| Family Meal Math | BYO chicken $50 feeds 4–6 | ~$8.35–$12.50 each |
| Free Guac Days | Veggie & Sofritas entrées | Every day, no code |

Three rules catch people out. You earn points on up to three qualifying purchases a day — a fourth same-day order earns nothing. Guest checkout earns nothing at all: you must be signed in. And you earn points only on the part of the bill you pay with cash, card, wallet or gift card — not on the part a reward covers. All of these savings apply to the base prices in the Chipotle menu prices guide.
Current Deals (October 2026)
The deal that matters this week is Boorito: on October 31, 2026, Rewards members in costume get a $6 entrée in the restaurant — the chain’s Halloween tradition, and the best single-day price of the year. The rest of the table is standing value, not a sale.
| Deal | Price | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Boorito 2026 | $6 entrée | Oct 31 · costume · members |
| New Member Chips & Guac | Free | With $5+ purchase |
| Birthday Reward | Free | Guac, queso, chips or drink |
| Freepotle Monthly Drop | Free | With $5 purchase |
| 50% Off an Entrée | 815 pts | Rewards Exchange |
| Free Entrée | 1,625 pts | About $162.50 spent |
| Entrée & Chips | 1,775 pts | 200 pts cheaper than split |
| Family BYO Chicken | $50.00 | Serves 4–6 |

Summer of Extras — the June 1 to August 31, 2026 streak event that paid a free entrée or 1,625 points for seven qualifying visits in a month — is over for the year. Watch the Rewards tab for its successor rather than expecting it to return unchanged.
Student, Military & Senior Discounts
There is no national senior or military discount at Chipotle — no source publishes one, and the coupons article says so plainly rather than inventing one. The student program is Chipotle U: verified students earn 12 points per $1 instead of 10 and get 1,000 bonus points on signup through ID.me, which cuts the spend for a free entrée from about $162.50 to about $135.42.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any working Chipotle promo codes?
No standing ones. Chipotle does not run a public promo-code program; the codes on coupon sites are invented. Real savings come through Chipotle Rewards in the app.
How many points do you need for a free entrée?
1,625 points — about $162.50 of qualifying spending at 10 points per $1, or about $135.42 for Chipotle U students at 12 points per $1. The old 1,250-point figure is stale, from before the April 2026 relaunch.
Do Chipotle Rewards points expire?
After 365 days with no qualifying purchase — the limit was 180 days before the April 13, 2026 relaunch. One purchase a year keeps your balance alive. Redeemed rewards expire 60 days after they are added.
What is the Boorito deal?
On October 31, 2026, Chipotle Rewards members in costume get a $6 entrée in the restaurant. It is a one-day, in-restaurant offer — not a code, and not available for delivery orders.
The Bottom Line
Chipotle’s savings system is one program done well, not a pile of coupons: join Rewards free, stay signed in, collect 10 points per $1, and let the birthday reward, the monthly Freepotle drops and Boorito do the rest. Ignore every promo-code site. For the menu those savings apply to, see the Chipotle menu prices guide; for the builds worth spending points on, the secret menu; and for what each free entrée costs your macros, the nutrition guide.
