Domino’s is the largest pizza company on earth — more than 21,700 stores in over 90 markets — and it got there on a menu that stayed small for decades: one crust, two sizes, eleven toppings. The 2026 menu below is a different animal: six crusts, thirteen specialty pizzas, a Detroit-style personal pizza shaped like the logo, chicken four ways, mac and cheese, oven-baked sandwiches and a stuffed crust the company resisted for 35 years. Every section carries typical US prices and Domino’s published calories.
Price basis: Domino’s publishes calories but not national prices — almost every store is franchised and prices locally. The prices below are the low–high range across three real Domino’s store menus checked on dominos.com in October 2026 (New York, Dallas and Los Angeles; Dallas usually cheapest, Los Angeles highest). Where a store menu doesn’t list a separate price, the item says so rather than carrying a copied guess. Calories are per serving from Domino’s official Nutrition Guide (March 2025).
Build Your Own Pizza
Four sizes and six crusts: Hand Tossed (the garlic-seasoned original), Crunchy Thin, Handmade Pan (medium only), New York Style (the foldable successor to Brooklyn Style, replaced in April 2024), Parmesan Stuffed Crust (medium only, launched March 2025) and Gluten Free (small only). Within a size, every crust costs the same for a cheese pizza; each added topping runs $2.00–$3.00 depending on size and store.
| Size | Crusts Available | Cheese Pizza Price | Slices |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small 10-inch | Hand Tossed, Gluten Free | $10.49–$12.99 | 6 slices |
| Medium 12-inch | All six crusts | $12.49–$14.99 | 8 slices |
| Large 14-inch | Hand Tossed, Thin, New York Style | $14.49–$16.99 | 8 slices |
| X-Large 16-inch | New York Style only | $16.49–$18.99 | 6 slices |

Crust is where the calories hide. A medium cheese slice starts at 200 calories on Hand Tossed — here is what each crust alone contributes per serving, from Domino’s published component figures:
| Crust | Serving | Crust Calories |
|---|---|---|
| Hand Tossed (medium) | 1/8 pizza | 110 cal |
| New York Style (medium) | 1/6 pizza | 110 cal |
| Handmade Pan (medium) | 1/8 pizza | 190 cal |
| Parmesan Stuffed Crust (medium) | 1/8 pizza | 230 cal |
| Crunchy Thin (large) | 1/8 pizza | 100 cal |
| Hand Tossed (large) | 1/8 pizza | 160 cal |
| Gluten Free (small) | 1/3 pizza | 170 cal |
| The Domino crust | 1/2 pizza | 400 cal |

The Domino. New in August 2026: a Detroit-style personal pizza shaped like the Domino’s logo — buttery pan dough, a crispy Parmesan edge, cut in two. One topping is included at $7.99–$8.99 (a coupon brings it to $5.99–$6.99 at many stores), and the crust alone is 400 calories per half.
Specialty Pizzas
Thirteen named pies appear across Domino’s current materials — the twelve in the official nutrition guide plus November 2025’s Spicy Chicken Bacon Ranch. All specialty pizzas share one price per size: Small $15.99–$19.99 · Large $20.99–$25.99 · X-Large $22.99–$28.99. The table shows the medium price; calories are per slice of a large Hand Tossed. Domino’s describes its national digital line-up as eleven specialties, so two of these — the Buffalo Chicken and Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch builds — are store-dependent in some regions. Every medium specialty is also $9.99 each in Mix & Match, every day.

Milk and wheat are in almost everything baked; the Gluten Free crust lists no tracked allergens itself but is baked in a shared kitchen, and Domino’s does not recommend it for celiac disease. The guide also notes Domino’s facilities handle peanuts and tree nuts.

Domino’s Opening and Closing Hours
There is no chainwide schedule: each store sets its own hours. The pattern is late by pizza standards — most stores open around 10:00–10:30 AM and close at midnight or 1 AM, with Friday and Saturday running later (college-town stores to 2 or 3 AM). The Ann Arbor store below opens 10:30 AM and closes at midnight Sunday–Thursday, 1 AM on weekends. Delivery typically stops about 30 minutes before close; your store’s page on dominos.com is the only exact answer.
Domino’s Reviews: The Ann Arbor Store by Headquarters
For a fair read on the chain we use the store at 25 Jackson Industrial Drive in Ann Arbor, Michigan — a few miles from the Domino’s Farms headquarters, where the standard should be highest. It is rated 3.9 out of 5 on Google from 146 reviews (as of October 2026) — a middling score that matches the pattern in its reviews: the food and speed earn praise, the consistency earns complaints.
“Very solid Domino’s location. The wait is never too long and the staff are friendly. Food always fresh and haven’t gotten an order wrong yet.”
— Alex Snowden, Google review (May 2026)
“Someone should say hello to people when then walk in, not ignore them until an employee comes from around back.”
— Lori, Google review (August 2026)
Both are real, and both are typical: Domino’s sells an experience built on the Tracker and the clock, so stores live or die on execution. Your local store’s Google rating — not the chain’s advertising — is the number that predicts your pizza.
Domino’s Facts
- Domino’s began on December 9, 1960 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, when brothers Tom and Jim Monaghan took over a small pizzeria called DomiNick’s — $500 down and $900 borrowed.
- Within eight months Jim Monaghan sold his half of the business to Tom in exchange for the Volkswagen Beetle they used as the delivery car, and went back to work as a postman.
- The chain became Domino’s Pizza in 1965 — the new name was suggested by an employee, Jim Kennedy, after the original owner barred the brothers from keeping DomiNick’s.
- The three dots on the logo are the three stores Tom Monaghan owned in 1965. The plan was to add a dot for every new store; it was abandoned almost immediately.
- The first Domino’s franchise opened in 1967, and the chain reached 200 stores by 1978.
- From 1973 Domino’s guaranteed delivery in 30 minutes or the pizza was free. The promise softened to $3 off in 1987 and was dropped in 1993, after lawsuits over rushed delivery driving.
- The first international store opened in Winnipeg, Canada on May 12, 1983 — the same year the 1,000th store opened in Vancouver, Washington.
- The early menu was deliberately tiny: one crust type, two sizes, 11 toppings and Coca-Cola. The first expansion, a deep-dish pizza, didn’t arrive until 1989.
- Tom Monaghan sold 93% of the company to Bain Capital in 1998 for about $1 billion, after 38 years. Domino’s went public in 2004 under the ticker DPZ.
- Brooklyn Style Pizza launched in 2006 with big, foldable, cornmeal-dusted slices. In April 2024 Domino’s quietly replaced it with New York Style — largely the same pizza, now also in a medium.
- Oven-baked sandwiches launched in 2008 as a direct shot at Subway; early marketing offered free sandwiches to customers named Jared, after Subway’s spokesman.
- 2009 was a busy year: the American Legends specialty line, BreadBowl Pasta and the Lava Crunch Cake all launched within months of each other.
- In 2010 Domino’s rebuilt its pizza recipe ‘from the crust up’ — new dough, sauce and cheese — and advertised the change by admitting the old pizza had a taste problem.
- The name shortened to just ‘Domino’s’ in August 2012, because the menu had outgrown pizza. The logo got its first refresh in 13 years in October 2025.
- Domino’s is the largest pizza company in the world by global retail sales, with more than 21,700 stores in over 90 markets; India is its biggest international market.
- Headquarters is Domino’s Farms in Ann Arbor Township, Michigan. Monaghan planned a 30-story slanted tower there — nicknamed the Leaning Tower of Pizza — that was never built.
- The Domino’s Tracker launched in 2008 and has since followed more than 2.5 billion orders. In 2025, more than 85% of US retail sales came through digital channels.
- Parmesan Stuffed Crust arrived in March 2025 — Domino’s first stuffed crust, 35 years after Pizza Hut’s, and only in a medium.
- Domino’s tried selling pizza to Italy, opening in Milan in 2015. The franchisee went bankrupt and the last Italian stores closed in 2022.
- The Domino, a Detroit-style personal pizza shaped like the logo, launched on August 31, 2026 — the box is shaped like a domino tile, too.
Domino’s Menu FAQ
How much is a large cheese pizza at Domino’s?
A large 14-inch cheese pizza runs $14.49–$16.99 at the stores we checked in October 2026. Domino’s stores are franchised and set their own prices, so your store’s figure may sit outside that range — and the Weeklong Carryout deal (a 1-topping large for $7.99 at many stores) usually beats the menu price anyway.
How many calories are in a Domino’s pizza slice?
It depends on the crust and build: a medium Hand Tossed cheese slice is 200 calories, specialty slices run 310–410 calories per large slice and 360–480 per medium slice, and the crust alone ranges from 100 calories (large Crunchy Thin) to 230 (medium Parmesan Stuffed Crust). The full chart is on our Domino’s nutrition page.
What is the cheapest way to order Domino’s?
Stack the standing deals: Mix & Match (2+ items at $6.99 each, medium specialty pizzas $9.99), the $7.99 Weeklong Carryout, and a free Emergency Pizza banked through Domino’s Rewards. Our Domino’s coupons guide walks through the combinations.
Does Domino’s still have Brooklyn Style pizza?
Not under that name. Domino’s replaced Brooklyn Style with New York Style in April 2024 — it is the same hand-stretched thin pizza, now also sold as a medium. Ordering New York Style gets you the Brooklyn pizza.
Is Domino’s gluten free crust safe for celiac disease?
Domino’s says no. The Gluten Free crust itself lists none of the tracked allergens, but it is baked in a shared kitchen with flour in the air, and the company does not recommend it for people with celiac disease.
Which sizes does Parmesan Stuffed Crust come in?
Medium only. Domino’s launched its first stuffed crust in March 2025 in a single size; in Mix & Match it prices at $10.99 for a medium 2-topping, a $4 upcharge over the standard deal price.
Does Domino’s charge for delivery?
Most stores add a delivery charge that varies by store, and Domino’s is explicit that the charge is not a tip for the driver. Several headline deals — the Weeklong Carryout above all — are carryout-only, which is why carryout is usually the cheaper order.
Conclusion
Domino’s 2026 menu is a study in range: a $6.99 Mix & Match medium at one end, a 2,090 mg-sodium mac and cheese at the other, and in between the most customisable pizza builder in fast food. Order it well — carryout deal first, Rewards points always, Emergency Pizza banked — and it remains the cheapest hot pizza in most American neighbourhoods.
